every major sports league has a mobile app that provides fans additional content outside of social media and their websites. an app provides fans a centralized place to find anything one would want to know about a team or league. the PLL has an app, but neither the NLL, nor the Swarm have its own app.
After doing research on the features and information thats provided in mobile app for sports teams, i created my own mockup for a swarm app. The app needed to show the media content that is also located on the website, but in a more digestable, filterable format. It would also need to show real time information that would drive users to watch the games online or in person.
This project was a valuable learning experience, as i worked from the conceptualization of the project, to the final mockup execution.
